Cutting Edge

French Designer Yann Kersale has teamed up with Baccarat, yes that Baccarat, to make these super-cool modular and rechargeable illuminated cylinders called “Jallum”. Their top is made of cut crystal with a satin finish and the base is anodized aluminum.

Their effect is amazing and can be a great decorative element either inside or out, great for by the pool in the summer or to offer some subtle lighting to your bar-b-q in the fall. These rechargeable lanterns have been around for a few years. Vessel has two that are great, the Luau Portable Lamp and the Candela Lights which both play the same way, and are less expensive, and Home Infatuation sells more candle-like versions that are even more affordable.
